Canadian standout Gabriela DeBues-Stafford, making her debut for Nike's Bowerman Track Club, won the women's 3,000 meters in a personal-best 8:38.51 at the Prickly Pear Invitational at Brophy Prep in Phoenix. DeBues-Stafford, who elevated to the No. 3 all-time Canadian outdoor performer, officially joined the Bowerman group in July. She was competing for the first time since a pair of races in Toronto in early August.
