British athlete Marc Scott, representing Nike's Bowerman Track Club, won the men's 3,000 meters in a personal-best 7:36.09 at the Prickly Pear Invitational at Brophy Prep in Phoenix. Scott, who elevated to the No. 4 all-time British performer, was competing for the first time since running a half marathon Sept. 12 in Great Britain, after winning the British championship Sept. 5 in the 5,000 meters.
